so Rishakesh was so relaxing and fun! we had a great time doing yoga, spending the holidays with our new friends and getting better after christie and i got sick! it is such an amazing spiritual city with awesome people! and it has the famous gangees river that is suppose to be spiritually healing, that runs through the city, that we all jumped in to-freezing!
so then we made our way to the taj mahal-which was of course nothing u can describe besides breath taking- so you'all need to just get up and go see it yourself! and then we saw the baby taj which is a replica, not exact, of the taj mahal done by the guy who did the taj mahal's grandfather. it was of course beautiful too, but even more detailed in the marble outlay of the structure.
then on to mumbai and the warm weather! we finally made it after a 24 hour train ride (the trains ar not too bad though, they ar actually kind of fun-diff. experience). we hung around and went shopping the first day, they have amazing shopping there, and then we were asked to be in a bollywood film the next day (as extras) so that is what we did the next day. it was really crazy we got to see famous bollywood actors and and get all dressed up and we even got paid 500 ruppees that they promised us! hurray! then the next day we went to these caves called the elephanta caves and saw amazing carvings of buddhist idols in the stone walls. so beautiful and big! and we took an awesome boat ride that we got to see alot of the bay and the ocean and when we came back it was night time so it was really beautiful.
then on to goa! it was just such and amzing time at the beach and sun and ocean! i love goa! such good shopping too-so cheap! so we basically just relaxed the whole time on the beach and went around this totally hippy town. we met an italian and austrian couple that were really nice and hung out with them for while.
then thailand here we ar! and this is were we be now:) it is so hot and humid and so city like. nothing like india, only maybe a little bit like mumbai, but that is it! such and amazingly fun nite life! we have been having so much fun here and there is such good shopping! holy shopping! we have also visited a couple temples and taken a boat ride at nite and it was so beautiful!
